Types of green packaging materials
1. Reusable and recycled packaging materials Reuse packaging, such as beer, drinks, soy sauce, vinegar, etc., using glass bottles for reuse. Recycling packaging, can be recycled in two ways, physical method refers to the direct thorough purification and crushing, without any pollutant residue, after the treatment of plastic directly used in recycling packaging containers. Chemical method refers to the recycling of PET after crushing washing, under the action of the catalyst, so that all PET depolymerization into monomer or partial depolymerization, purification and then the monomer repolymerization into regenerative packaging materials. The reuse and regeneration of packaging materials only prolong the service life of plastic and other polymer materials as packaging materials. When reaching their service life, they still have to face the problems of waste disposal and environmental pollution.
2. Edible packaging materials edible packaging film. For decades, the familiar sticky rice paper used on candy wrappers and the corn baking cups used for ice cream were examples of edible packaging. The more mature synthetic edible packaging film is transparent, colorless, odorless, non-toxic, with toughness, high oil resistance film, edible, can be used as food packaging. Its luster, strength and folding resistance are better. Edible cling film. As early as the 12th ~ 13th century, oranges and lemons were coated with wax to delay their dehydration and weightlessness. Prolong the shelf life of fruits and vegetables. Now commonly used edible plastic film, has developed into a variety of functions and properties, with obvious waterproof and certain optional air permeability, so in the food industry, especially in fruit and vegetable preservation, has broad application prospects
3. Degradable material Degradable material refers to a plastic whose chemical structure changes in a specific environment resulting in a loss of performance over a specific period of time. Degradable plastic packaging materials not only have the functions and characteristics of traditional plastics, but also after the completion of service life, through the action of ultraviolet light in sunlight or microbial action in soil and water, in the natural environment, degradation and reduction, and finally re-enter the ecological environment in a non-toxic form, return to nature.
4. Paper materials The raw material of paper is mainly natural plant fiber, which will rot quickly in nature and will not pollute the environment. It can also be recycled for papermaking. Paper materials and pulp injection parts, composite materials, building materials and other uses. In addition to the advantages of light weight, low price, shockproof, pulp molding products also have good air permeability, which is conducive to the preservation of fresh goods. In the international commodity circulation, it is widely used in eggs, fruits, glass products and other fragile, easy to break, afraid of extrusion goods on the turnover packaging.
