India's first 100% compostable tea bags
In an effort to curb global plastic pollution, one of the world’s biggest environmental issues, premium tea brand Seven Spring from Gujarat, India has launched India’s first-ever 100% compostable tea bags free of plastic and aluminum foil. This new packaging is eco-friendly with a focus on reducing waste, zero plastic consumption and carbon emissions.
The G20 Summit's focus on making environmentally responsible and sustainable decisions at the level of individual lifestyles and national development will lead to transformative activity at the international level, contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
Seven Spring aims to contribute to improving the environment and reducing plastic pollution. After about nine months of extensive research, the Seven Spring team came up with 100% compostable tea bags that are entirely plant-based and can be dissolved in water or mud.
