It comes from natural, renewable starch-rich crops such as corn and potatoes, and is also known as "corn plastic."

2. PLA has similar mechanical properties to PETE polymers, but the maximum continuous service temperature is much lower.

The heat-resistant PLA can withstand temperatures of 110°C.

3.100% compostable and biodegradable: PLA decomposes into lactic acid under composting conditions.

The lactic acid is broken down by bacteria into water and carbon dioxide.

4. Depending on the size and thickness of the product, it will take 90-180 days under composting conditions
