The function of microbial fertilizer

How does microbial fertilizer affect crop growth? After the seeds take root and germinate in the soil, the live beneficial microorganisms applied to the soil multiply around the roots of the crops, forming a vigorous microbial activity area. These active microorganisms not only change the soil properties, but also promote the growth and development of crops.

1. Improve soil structure and improve soil fertility. Some rhizobia and nitrogen-fixing bacteria in microbial fertilizers can convert nitrogen in the air into nitrogen nutrients that plants can absorb, and increase the source of nitrogen in the soil. Phosphorus and potassium are decomposed and converted into available phosphorus and potassium compounds that crops can absorb and utilize, which increases the supply of nutrients in the growing environment of crops. The application of some microbial fertilizers also increases the organic matter in the soil, promotes the formation of soil aggregate structure, and improves soil fertility. Long-term use of microbial fertilizer can make the original compacted soil softer and more breathable, and the performance of water and fertilizer retention has also been improved.

2. Reduce pests and diseases and enhance the disease resistance of crops. The beneficial microorganisms in the microbial fertilizer grow and multiply in large numbers around the root system of crops, forming dominant flora, occupying the living space of pathogenic microorganisms, and preventing pathogenic microorganisms from invading crops. Secondly, the insecticidal and antibacterial substances secreted by microorganisms have certain insecticidal and antibacterial effects. These substances can enhance the disease resistance of crops in the roots, so that crops can avoid soil-borne pathogens and reduce the incidence of disease.

3. Promote growth and increase yield. After using microbial fertilizer, microorganisms such as gibberellin, auxin and other physiologically active substances promote the growth and development of crops, especially the development of root systems. The developed root system improves the nutrient absorption capacity of crops and accelerates the growth and development of crops. . Especially for some photosynthetic bacteria preparations, after spraying on the leaves of crops, the branches and leaves of the crops are lush, the leaf area increases, the photosynthesis of the crops is significantly enhanced, the growth of the crops is accelerated, the flowering is early, the fruit is more, and the yield is high.

4. Improve product quality. Due to the activity of microorganisms, the supply of nutrients in the soil is balanced, the excessive absorption of N fertilizers by crops is prevented, the content of protein, sugar and vitamins is increased, the content of nitrate is decreased, the quality of crops is significantly improved, the taste is good, and the preservation time is prolonged. According to the experimental determination, the application of microbial fertilizer can reduce the nitrate content in the product by 20-30%, increase the vitamin C content by 30-40%, and increase the soluble sugar by 1-4 degrees. It can effectively improve the appearance of vegetables and fruits, increase the content of amino acids, and reduce the content of harmful substances such as heavy metals.

5. Reduce pollution and improve the ecological environment. Microbial fertilizer has good fertilizer efficiency and can enhance the disease resistance of crops. The use of microbial fertilizer can reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers by 30% and reduce the amount of pesticides, thereby reducing environmental pollution, reducing pesticide residues, and promoting the sustainable development of agriculture in my country.
