FURLA launches the first biodegradable leather handbag
Recently, FURLA launched the global exclusive series FURLA Unica, reinterpreting a landmark package of the brand in the 1990s fashion archives. It is worth noting that FURLA Unica is the first biodegradable leather handbag made in Italy jointly launched by FURLA and CYCLICA.

Benefited from the degradable leather series brand Oleum produced by Cylica ®, The production process of FURLA Unica handbags also follows the cycle mode. Oleum ® 70% of leather raw materials come from traceable European farms, which produce by-products of the food industry. It uses wastewater from olive oil production for vegetable tanning, thus avoiding the direct use of aldehydes and glyphosate. The leather processed by this process contains no metal and no harmful ingredients to the environment. The organic pigment components for leather coloring are derived from corn, spirulina, log bark and ferns. As the core of the manufacturing process, these components also do not contain synthetic agents and heavy metals. Add natural elements such as beeswax or special salts for surface treatment.
