The proposed amendments were approved at the general meeting of the Japan Bioplastics Association on June 8, 2021. The revised content is as follows:
The GreenPla identification label system will be renamed Biodegradable Plastics biodegradable plastic identification label system.
The name "GreenPla" was abolished and it was called "degradable plastic".
The conversion of the new logo should be activated in July 2021
(1) All products newly certified after July 2021 should use the new logo.
(2) After July 2021, the products to be updated will start to convert to the new logo. It is also possible to switch to a new trademark in advance, regardless of the renewal period.
(3) The handover will be completed before March 2024.
