From May 29 to June 2, 2023, the second meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) (referred to as INC-2) was held in Paris, France, with the aim of formulating a policy on plastic pollution (including Plastic Pollution in the Marine Environment) legally binding international instrument.
