01. Plastic alloy

 

The compatibilizer plays a very good role in adjusting and controlling the microscopic phase structure of the alloy technology, so that the blended material can achieve high performance and functionalization. Compatibilizers are widely used in PP/PE, PP/PA, PA/PS, PA/ABS, ABS/PC, PBT/PA, PET/PA, PP/POE, PE/EPDM, TPE/PU and other alloys.

 

02. Polymer modification

 

Since the compatibilizer is a "bridge" between non-polar and polar polymers by incorporating carboxyl groups of active radical molecules into polar polymers, it is modified into polar polymers, and then co-polymerized with polar polymers. Mixing, the reaction between the two to obtain a good modified blending effect.

 

03. Recycling waste plastics

 

The use of compatibilizers to recycle waste plastics and make them into new plastic alloys or new modified plastics is a good and feasible method for "comprehensive utilization", and can solve the problem of "white pollution", which has great social benefits and business economics.

The blending and regeneration of scraps of olefin plastics and engineering plastics, adding 5%-10% compatibilizer as the interface layer between the sea phase or island phase, exerting the bonding force of the compatibilizer and the efficiency of polar compatibilizing groups, and preparing Become a new plastic alloy or modified plastic.

 

04. Coupling of plastic and filler

 

Compatibilizers are also called macromolecular coupling agents. Due to the high polymer part being compatible with high molecular polymers, the compatibilizer has excellent coupling efficiency between plastics and fillers, and can be used for the coupling treatment of PE/CaCO3, PE/talc, PA/GF, etc. good.

 

05. Toughening of polar resins

Thermoplastic elastomer has good flexibility, high elasticity and low temperature performance, adding a certain amount of compatibilizer can be used as a toughening agent for PP, PE, PS, PA, PC and other plastics. The compatibilizer is the most critical "core" and "shell" phase of these toughening agents. For example, MAH grafted EPDM toughening agent can maintain excellent physical properties and toughness at a temperature of -45 °C. The general dosage is 5%-10%.

 

06. Improve other properties of plastics Compatibilizers can also be used to improve the adhesiveness, antistatic properties, printability, gloss and other properties of plastics.
