Shenzhen: Non-degradable disposable tableware, straws and plastic bags are banned in the catering industry
Recently, the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau formulated and issued the "2022 Food Operation Safety Daily Supervision and Inspection Plan (Trial)"; according to the plan, Shenzhen will focus on carrying out online food operation rectification actions: urge catering service providers to implement the national plastic restriction requirements, Catering service units are prohibited from using non-degradable disposable plastic tableware and disposable plastic straws, and packaging must not use disposable non-degradable plastic bags and other plastic restrictions. Encourage take-out units to practice green take-out and use degradable and recyclable tableware.
