On April 27, 2022, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued a notice on the issuance of the "Beijing Plastic Pollution Control Action Plan 2022 Work Points".
The "Key Points of Work" focuses on deepening the governance work from 8 aspects, and proposes 23 specific measures.
The main point of the work is to promote the reduction of non-degradable disposable plastic products from the source, and by the end of 2022, Beijing express outlets will ban the use of non-degradable plastic packaging bags.
