Goldpac's first PLA biodegradable environmental protection card landed in Shanghai Bank

Recently, Bank of Shanghai took the lead in releasing a low-carbon life debit card using PLA biodegradable material. With the official release of the card, Goldpac's green footprint has taken another big step forward.

"China strives to achieve 'carbon peak' by 2030, and strive to achieve 'carbon neutrality' by 2060." "Double carbon goals" is China's solemn commitment to reducing carbon emissions to the world; the green card series products are Goldpac's leading practice in fulfilling its green social responsibility with nearly 30 years of experience in the production of financial IC cards. Carbon emissions are 37% lower than conventional PVC cards (RPVC cards can be reduced by 44%), which is equivalent to 100,000 green cards to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2.6 tons.

Goldpac's PLA degradable and environmentally friendly materials are made from starch extracted from renewable plant resources (such as corn, cassava, etc.), and can achieve complete biodegradation under specific conditions to generate carbon dioxide and water.

Compared to conventional conventional PVC, the production of PLA eco-friendly cards of the same weight produces about 60% less greenhouse gases.

In addition to the first PLA biodegradable material environmental protection card, Goldpac has also developed a number of "environmental protection cards" made of recycled recycled materials, biodegradable materials, bio-based materials and other environmentally friendly materials, and obtained UL, TUV, HTP It has obtained certificates or certification test reports from global testing and certification agencies, and has been certified by card organizations such as Visa/MC, and has obtained a number of independent environmental protection patents, and a number of projects have been implemented.
