General cleaning steps
Rinse immediately: Rinse straws under warm running water as soon as possible after use to remove any food or drink residue.
Dish soap cleaning:
Apply a small amount of mild dish soap to the cleaning brush.
Insert the brush into the straw, twist and scrub the inside, making sure every nook and cranny is cleaned.
Rinse the straw under warm water until no detergent residue remains.
Cleaning the outside: Wash the outside of the straw with dish soap and water, then rinse with clean water.

Deep cleaning steps (optional)
Soak in vinegar solution:
Mix one part white vinegar with two parts warm water.
Soak the straw completely in the vinegar solution and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
Re-scrub: After soaking, scrub the inside of the straw again with the cleaning brush.
Rinse: Rinse the straw thoroughly under warm water until there is no vinegar smell.
Drying bamboo straws
Air drying: Gently shake off excess water and place the straws in a well-ventilated area to air dry naturally, with the opening facing downward to allow moisture to drain out.
Avoid direct sunlight: Ensure the straws are stored away from direct sunlight to prevent the bamboo from cracking.
Tips for maintaining bamboo straws
Avoid prolonged soaking: Prolonged soaking in water will weaken the bamboo and shorten its lifespan.
Store in a dry place: Choose a cool, dry place to store, and avoid high-humidity environments.
Inspect regularly: Check the straws for cracks or chips, and replace damaged straws promptly.
