Lenor Paper Bottle

Jul 23, 2021

On July 22, Procter & Gamble cooperated with the paper bottle company Paboco to launch the first paper bottle for Lenor and announced that it will conduct a pilot in Western Europe in 2022. The trial launch will become the basis of a testing and learning strategy to expand the scale of paper packaging and incorporate it more widely into P&G's product . Procter & Gamble's goal is to reduce its use of virgin plastics by 50% by 2030.

Paboco's paper bottle technology is developing rapidly. Compared with traditional plastic packaging, it is expected to reduce and replace plastic content while reducing its carbon footprint. With the support of leading consumer product companies and industry experts such as The Coca-Cola Company, Carlsberg Group, Absolut Company, L'Oréal, BillerudKorsnäs and ALPLA, this alternative form of packaging has become more and more feasible and gradually expands the world’s first mass-produced 100% bio-based recyclable paper bottles.
