Reece Whitby, the environment minister, said that the state government would take a "mild approach to give people time to adapt to this change". However, if they continue to supply these products intentionally, or do not make any changes, they will face a huge fine. Individuals will face a fine of up to AUD5000, while legal persons will face a fine of up to AUD25000.
