Huitong Purlis Plans To Build A 350,000-ton PLA Project

     On July 23, the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences issued the "Publicity of the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry on the Proposed Patent Rights", intending to exclusively license the 6 patents held by Changchun Applied Chemistry to Prissi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. 


    On May 27th, Huitong New Materials Co., Ltd. (Huitong Stock, 688219.SH) issued an announcement confirming the use of PLA polymerization technology from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Academician Chen Xuesi to invest an annual output of 35 in the Wuhu Sanshan Economic Development Zone in Anhui.     The total investment of the project is 8.6 billion yuan, and the total planned land area is 1,800 mu. The project is planned at one time and constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project will invest 2 billion yuan to build a polylactic acid project with an annual output of 50,000 tons. The construction period is 3 years, covering an area of about 300 acres, and new production workshops, comprehensive buildings and supporting facilities will be built. The total investment of the second phase is 6.6 billion yuan, covering an area of 1,500 mu, and building a polylactic acid project with an annual output of 300,000 tons.
