A few days ago, the Development and Reform Commission of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Department of Ecology and Environment jointly issued the "Key Points of the Autonomous Region's Plastic Pollution Control in 2022" (hereinafter referred to as "Key Points of Work") to promote plastic pollution control with "eight major actions" and solidly promote the entire chain of plastic pollution. Governance work to ensure that the target task of prohibiting and restricting the production, sales and use of some plastic products is completed as scheduled, and to promote the region's plastic pollution control to achieve new results.


"Eight major actions", namely, plastic products source reduction action, plastic waste standard recycling and disposal action, waste plastic recycling action, rivers, lakes and seas "cleaning" action, agricultural film and pesticide packaging management action, public institutions leading demonstration actions, key points Field supervision actions and advocacy guidance actions. According to the division of responsibilities, the "Key Points of Work" decomposes and refines the key tasks of the "Eight Actions", and clarifies the responsible units for each work.
