Sumifru bananas will come in PLA packaging
On August 22, 2022, Sumifru Korea announced the application of eco-friendly PLA (polylactic acid) material to three banana products: Gamsukwang Banana, Sweet Mountain Banana, and SumiFuru Banana.
Sumifru is a global exporter of premium fruits and vegetables, headquartered in Singapore. Sumifru's main business is to sell bananas and pineapples produced in the Philippines, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and the United States to markets around the world, including South Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, New Zealand and the Middle East.
