The "Plastic Restriction Order" requires that the production and sale of ultra-thin plastic shopping bags with a thickness of less than 0.025 mm, polyethylene agricultural mulch film with a thickness of less than 0.01 mm, the manufacture of plastic products from medical waste, and the import of waste plastics are prohibited; by the end of 2020 , ban the production and sale of disposable foam plastic tableware, disposable plastic cotton swabs, and ban the sale of daily chemical products containing plastic microbeads by the end of 2022.
In terms of use, the "Plastic Restriction Order" clarifies the implementation time and region of the ban on four disposable products: non-degradable plastic bags, disposable plastic tableware, disposable plastic products for hotels and express delivery plastic packaging. Among them, for non-degradable plastic bags, the "Plastic Restriction Order" requires that by the end of 2022, all shopping malls, supermarkets, pharmacies, bookstores and other places in built-up areas of cities above the prefecture level and built-up areas of counties in coastal areas, as well as catering packaged takeaway services and various Exhibition activities, prohibit the use of non-degradable plastic bags, and regulate and restrict the use of non-degradable plastic bags in bazaars; by the end of 2025, the use of non-degradable plastic bags in the fairs in the above regions is prohibited; Stop using non-degradable plastic bags in places such as markets in towns, towns and rural areas.
