South Korea's CJ Group 5000 tons / year PHA officially put into production

On April 28, 2022, CJ BIO (CJ BIO), a subsidiary of South Korea's CJ Cheiljedang (CJ CheilJedang), announced that its plant in Pasuruan PHA, Indonesia, has been put into operation and the first batch of products has been shipped. The new plant will have a capacity of 5,000 t/y and will focus on "amorphous" PHA (a-PHA) production.
