Recently, plastic packaging manufacturer Alpla announced that it has acquired an "significant minority stake" in Slovakia Panara, which has been active in the formulation and production of bio-based and biodegradable plastics since 2006. The company has cooperated with Bratislava University of Technology and Nitra Ecological Polymeric Materials Application Research Center (Cepoma) to research biopolymers, and recently launched a 100% bio-based and compostable bioplastic to the market under the Nonoilen brand. Device; the composition of the material has not been disclosed, but it also has good heat resistance and stability.
